Four Footed Friends relies on its volunteers to do so many things. We seek to develop a strong corps of dedicated volunteers to help us take care of our shelter and animals. To do that, we need YOU. Please contact the shelter today for information about volunteering. Keep your eye on our Events page to look for volunteer open houses where you can visit for an orientation and sign up for specific jobs.
| | Ways you can help: |  | - Come to the shelter and pet the kitties and walk the dogs!
- Night walking the dogs (8:30 pm, takes approximately 1 up to 2 hours, and you will NOT be alone!)
- Shelter cleaning in the mornings (changing cat litters and foods, OR cleaning dog kennels, OR vacuuming/windows/dishes, etc in the main shelter welcome areas)
- Volunteer to answer the phones or greet customers at the door
- Other clerical duties like stuffing newsletters,
- Event planning
- Volunteering at events like mall/Meadows/Tractor Supply outreaches, county fair booth, other community events
- Fostering dogs and cats in your home- call shelter for details
- Transporting pets to and from the veterinarian
- Grant writing and research ***GREATLY NEEDED!
